02Finding us
Heavenly Retreat sits at the edge of the Shangarh Meadow in the Sainj Valley, on the boundary of the Great Himalayan National Park.
- By road — paved the whole way except the final 8 km into Shangarh, which is an unpaved track. Most cars manage it in fair weather; ground clearance helps during the monsoon.
- Nearest town — Sainj. We can arrange a local taxi from there given a little notice.
- Before you set out in the monsoon or in winter, call us for current road conditions.
03Booking a stay
Rates and live availability are on our reservation page. Booking direct carries no commission, and the rate you see is the rate you pay, taxes shown separately and in full.
For six suites or more, or for the whole property, please call — group stays are easier to arrange in conversation.
